About CME
Objectives
The 2014 Primary Care Summit will give family physicians and other health care providers the opportunity to update their medical knowledge of important advances in the medical field, narrow practice gaps by addressing unmet educational needs, enhance clinical skills, and support professional development through a multi-faceted curriculum. Through didactic lectures, case-study discussions, and audience interaction, this activity strives to develop and promote evidence-based CME with the ultimate goal of improved patient care.
Accreditation
The Texas Academy of Family Physicians is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
TAFP designates this live activity for a maximum of 25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
TAFP adheres to the ACCME standards regarding industry support of CME and disclosure of faculty and commercial support relationships, if any, will be made known at the conference.
Application for CME credit has been filed with the American Academy of Family Physicians. Determination of credit is pending.
Each conference has been designated by the TAFP for 1 hour of credit in ethics and/or professional responsibility.
