Grassroots Advocacy for Family Medicine
You can make a difference during the summer congressional recess. In the coming weeks, congressional legislators will travel to their communities to learn what is important for their constituents through town hall meetings and time spent with community leaders. AAFP encourages all members to interact with these legislators to keep family medicine in a prominent position. Send a form letter, schedule time for legislators to visit your practice, plan to attend a town hall meeting, or attend other events.
