Hard Hats for Little Heads
TAFP partners with the Texas Medical Association to participate in Hard Hats for Little Heads, a bicycle safety initiative. Family physicians who are members of both organizations sign up to receive up to 100 bicycle helmets at no cost to the physician to distribute to their pediatric patients through community events, wellness visits, school demonstrations, and other events. TAFP’s participation is made possible by a grant from the AAFP Foundation.
