About CME
Objectives
The C. Frank Webber Lectureship will provide family physicians and other primary care providers the opportunity to update their medical knowledge of important advances in the medical field, narrow practice gaps by addressing unmet educational needs, enhance clinical skills, and support professional development through a multifaceted curriculum. Through didactic lectures, case discussions, and audience interaction, the C. Frank Webber Lectureship strives to develop and promote evidence-based continuing medical education with the ultimate goal of improved patient care.
Accreditation
The Texas Academy of Family Physicians is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. TAFP designates this live activity for a maximum of 16.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
This course has been designated by TAFP for up to 1 hour of credit in ethics and/or professional responsibility. This conference includes sessions that meet physician CME requirements mandated by the Texas Medical Board for pain management and human trafficking.
The AAFP has reviewed 2023 C. Frank Webber Lectureship and Interim Session and deemed it acceptable for up to 16.25 Live AAFP Prescribed credits. Term of Approval is from 04/21/2023 to 04/22/2023. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
TAFP adheres to the ACCME Standards for Integrity and Independence in Accredited Continuing Education and faculty relevant financial relationships, if any, will be mitigated and disclosures will be communicated at the conference.
