NPI Workshop – Suturing

Thursday, Nov. 8  |  8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

 

This workshop is designed for the practitioner looking to gain insight into the anatomy of the skin, principles of healing, and basic wound care. Biopsy and excision techniques, suturing methods, undermining, skin stapling, and the application of adhesives will be demonstrated and practiced. An abundance of hands-on time is scheduled to refine suturing skills.

Texas Academy of Family Physicians designates this live activity for a maximum of 8.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Application for CME credit has been filed with the American Academy of Family Physicians.
