AAFP appoints TAFP members and staff

The American Academy of Family Physicians appointed two TAFP members and a staff person to serve on commissions for the next four years. Ajay Gupta, M.D., was appointed to the Commission on Finance and Insurance. He is currently a partner with the Jefferson Street Family Practice in Austin.

Lindsay Botsford, M.D., was appointed to the Commission on Quality and Practice. She leads the practice transformation team at the Memorial Family Medicine Residency program in Sugar Land.

Kathy McCarthy, CAE, was appointed to the Commission on Membership and Member Services. She is TAFP’s chief operating officer in Austin.
