TAFP pilot project aims
to improve practice revenue

Do you know what your denial rate is for each health plan you accept, and which types of claims are most frequently denied? TAFP has a partnership with a company that could help. RemitDATA is working with TAFP members to analyze electronic remittance data, and help them reduce the number of denials they receive.

“Often a practice will unknowingly make the same billing mistake over and over,” says TAFP CEO/EVP Tom Banning. “A quick report can reveal those errors, allowing you to make an adjustment on the front end and save your practice thousands of dollars.”

RemitDATA also aggregates data collected on TAFP participants, and provides reports to TAFP that show trends in the market, allowing the Academy to address problems with lawmakers and regulators.
