New for you: TAFP launches “I Am a Family Doctor” video campaign
In TAFP’s latest venture, your Academy has launched a viral video campaign to raise interest in family medicine. Called “I Am a Family Doctor,” the campaign invites the up-and-comers of the specialty—students, residents and new physicians—to create 1- to 2-minute videos to broadcast why they like being a family physician or plan to become one.
TAFP will produce a short video that profiles successful family physicians around Texas in a variety of practice settings: doing sports medicine, delivering babies, performing procedures and, most importantly, making a meaningful difference in the lives of their patients. We’ll collect all the videos and post them on a campaign blog then host a contest, awarding a prize at the Texas Conference of Family Medicine Residents and Students next March.
