posted 03.07.13
The TAFP Foundation and TAFP’s Commission on Public Health, Clinical Affairs, and Research will host the annual student, resident and community physician poster competition at the 64th Annual Session and Scientific Assembly in Fort Worth on Aug. 2. Make sure your school, residency program, or practice is represented for its work in family medicine research.
All applicants can submit posters in primary research or evidence-based review. Students may also submit posters in the case report category. Resident winners will receive cash prizes, and students and community physicians will receive plaques. The competition is funded by the TAFP Foundation.
Members of the commission will review all entries before the competition. The deadline to submit an application and abstract of your poster is May 15. All entrants will be notified in early June if their poster is eligible to compete.
View more information and submit your application online at www.tafp.org/professional-development/assa/poster-competition. The full guidelines, including criteria for abstract submission and judging, are available for download here.
