Texas Medicaid to host webinar on EHR incentive program

Texas Medicaid is launching the initial phase of the Electronic Health Record Incentive Program, which will distribute incentive payments to Medicaid providers for the meaningful use of certified EHR technology. To help health care professionals prepare for the program and enrollment, Texas Medicaid will host a free webinar on Feb. 3, 2011. Participants can view the webinar at 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. or 5 - 6:30 p.m.

The webinar focuses on the steps physicians can take now to get ready for the Medicaid incentive program; information they will need to start collecting; and a demonstration of the enrollment process, including screenshots.
