Calling all TAFP members:
Make Your Mark on family medicine

We want your talent and knowledge on a committee or commission

posted 05.06.10

Help determine the direction of family medicine by signing up to serve on one of the Texas Academy of Family Physicians’ committee or commissions. TAFP relies on the strong foundation set by its members and the infrastructure formed by the committees and commissions. On these groups, members help shape policy and make recommendations that keep the organization at the forefront of the specialty. Follow the link below to indicate on which TAFP committees and commissions you would be willing to serve. All committee and commission appointments are for three years except for the Executive Committee, and Student and Resident sections, which are one-year terms. Chair and vice-chair appointments are also for one year.

We ask that you respond by May 14, 2010, to ensure that your request is reviewed during our upcoming appointment process. If you are already a member of a committee or commission and your term is expiring this year, make sure to fill out another Make Your Mark form to remain on the committee or commission. Membership questions can be directed to Juleah Williams at jwilliams@tafp.org or (512) 329-8666 ext. 35.
