ADHD follow up appointment guidance
The Health and Human Services Commission is reminding physicians that they may be reimbursed for follow up visits after prescribing ADHD medications, whether or not they are mental health providers. Helpful mobile apps from the National Kidney Foundation
The National Kidney Foundation has numerous mobile apps to aid medical professionals in a variety of ways. The eGFR Calculator app helps to estimate kidney function and the Care After Kidney Transplant app helps post-transplant patients learn how to stay healthy. Other apps available include Screening for Albuminuria in Patients with Diabetes, Manage CVD in Patients with Reduced eGFR, and Monitoring and Referral in Patients with CKD. Free webcasts on ICD-10 implementation from CMS
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services currently has a collection of free webcast videos focusing on ICD-10 for five different specialties, including one for family physicians and internal medicine.
