AAFP National Research Network brings physicians together to study primary care
Are you interested in participating in practice-based research? The AAFP National Research Network brings together more than 2,200 primary care clinician members in 600 offices to collaborate on studies to describe and improve primary care practice. Membership is free and voluntary. Over the past 12 years, the AAFP NRN has facilitated 55 studies and 59 articles, providing primary care physicians with evidence-based research to help improve the health of their patients and communities. There are two sub-networks: the Collaborative Care Research Network, which investigates mental health services in primary care settings, and the Electronic National Quality Improvement Network, which works to build a national collection of EHR data. For more information on how to get involved, go to the AAFP NRN section of AAFP’s website.
