Identify those in need of Buprenorphine
|
The American Society of Addiction Medicine is offering an eight-hour Buprenorphine Waiver Course. This blended course will consist of four hours of online learning and four hours of live learning. During this training, you will learn how to identify and assess patients who are appropriate for treatment with medication, gain specific knowledge concerning the use of medications to manage patients suffering from opioid addiction, discuss the psychiatric and medical co-morbidities associated with addiction, and apply for a waiver to prescribe buprenorphine to patients with opioid use disorders.
