Meaningful Use and PQRS deadlines approach

Our friends at the TMF Quality Innovation Network want you to be aware of important news and upcoming deadlines. CMS recently shortened the meaningful use reporting period from one full year to any continuous 90-day period between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2016. For those participating in the 2016 Electronic Health Record reporting period, your deadline is Feb. 28, 2017, and for those participating in the Physician Quality Reporting System, your deadline is Feb. 24-28, 2017. In addition, TMF continues to host regular educational events including the PQRS and Meaningful Use Open Forum and Improving EMR use for the Quality Payment Program.
