Do you write scripts for Medicare Part D drugs? Make sure you’re enrolled in Medicare
According to a new rule from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, if you write prescriptions for covered Part D drugs and you aren’t enrolled in Medicare or have a valid record of opting out, you should submit an enrollment application or an opt-out affidavit by August 1, 2016 so the Part D scripts you write are coverable after Feburary 1, 2017.
