AAFP concussion awareness webinars A recent AAFP Leader Voices blog about raising concussion awareness announced that the Academy recently entered a partnership with the NFL. Primary care docs see insurance payment increase A recent study published in Health Affairs says payments made by insurance carriers are up for primary care physicians, more so than any other specialty, for both new and established patients. Read more in this Medscape article. Reminder: Medicaid providers must re-enroll by March 2016 Federal regulations require Medicaid providers to re-enroll in the program ever three to five years. Texas providers who enrolled prior to Jan. 1, 2013, must re-enroll by March 24, 2016. The Texas Medicaid and Healthcare Partnership has resources for Medicaid re-enrollment, including these consequences if providers do not enroll, and these common mistakes to avoid when applying.
