TAFP blog weighs in on end of legislative session Now that the 84th Texas Legislature has adjourned, TAFP CEO Tom Banning weighs in on winners and losers of the session. Read his legislative overview blog here. Medicaid providers must re-enroll by next spring A new federal regulation is making Medicaid providers periodically re-enroll in the Medicaid program. All Texas providers who enrolled prior to Jan. 1, 2013, must re-enroll by March 24, 2016. The Texas Medicaid and Healthcare Partnership recently made changes to the enrollment portal, simplifying the enrollment process. Read more about re-enrollment in this TMHP document. Registration closes June 5 for Texas Primary Care and Health Home Summit The Texas Medical Home Initiative and the Texas Health Institute present the third annual Texas Primary Care and Health Home Summit in San Antonio, June 18-19, 2015.
