The clock is winding down on the Texas Legislature Only a few days remain in the 84th Texas Legislature. From the budget to graduate medical education funding and a measure to increase access to direct primary care for patients in Texas, here’s a quick rundown of some bills TAFP has been tracking throughout the session. May Member of the Month: Natalia Gutierrez, MD International medical graduate cares for the underserved Dr. Gutierrez was born and raised in Colombia by parents both in the medical field who greatly impacted her decision to become a physician.
