Read this TAFP news story for more on S.B. 406 and a link to the FAQs. 2014 preceptorship program opens enrollment The Texas Statewide Family Medicine Preceptorship Program is now accepting applications for medical students interested in spending time this summer with an experienced family physician. The TAFP Foundation also has scholarships available for pre-clinical medical students participating in preceptorships. HPV and cervical cancer summit A summit on HPV and cervical cancer will be held at the United Way of Great Houston next week, Jan. 22, 8:15 a.m. – 6 p.m. Topics will include HPV-related diseases in men and women, the Texas Women’s Health Program, survivor stories, and targeted breakout sessions.
