Health insurance marketplace opens with technical difficulties
The new federally-facilitated online health insurance marketplace opened for business on Tuesday, Oct. 1, but many Texans trying to shop for health plans couldn’t access the website because it was overrun with traffic. Patients still have several weeks to enroll to obtain coverage starting on Jan. 1, 2014.
