TAFP Foundation names three Kolb scholarship recipients
The TAFP Foundation has announced the recipients of the Weldon G. Kolb, M.D. Medical Student Scholarship, named for a TAFP charter member and past president from La Marque, Texas. The scholarship is open to third-year medical students at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and awardees are selected by members of their Department of Family Medicine. UTMB presented the scholarship to Amber Higgs, Rachel Marinch, and Geoffrey Moses at the Galveston Chapter meeting on May 1. Congratulations to these student members!
